Cervical facet joints can become inflamed or arthritic, causing neck pain, headaches, and restricted motion. Dr. Bhakta provides diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for cervical facet pain.
The cervical facet joints guide neck motion and bear load during head movement. When these joints become arthritic or inflamed, they cause deep, aching neck pain that typically worsens with looking up or turning the head. Upper cervical facet pain can also refer pain to the back of the head, causing cervicogenic headaches.
Dr. Bhakta creates an individualized plan based on your specific diagnosis and symptoms.
